How do I list my bar on WatzUp?

Create an account and select 'I own a bar' during registration. You'll be guided through a short setup wizard to add your bar's details, photos, bar type, and happy hours. Your listing goes live once your details are reviewed and your liquor license is verified.

What's included in a bar listing?

Every listing includes your bar's name, address, photos, description, bar type, price level, happy hour times, and a full menu. You can post deals and upcoming events, respond to customer reviews, and customers can follow your bar to receive push notifications when you add new content.

How much does it cost?

Basic bar listings and core owner tools are currently free. WatzUp may introduce optional paid business tools in the future, and existing owners will receive advance notice before any changes.

Can I cancel a paid service?

If you have an optional paid service, you can manage or cancel it from your account settings. Cancelling an optional paid service does not remove your basic venue listing.

What happens if a payment fails?

A payment issue only affects an existing optional paid service. It does not add a charge to, or remove, your free basic listing. We'll contact you with options for managing that paid service.

Do I need a liquor license to list my bar?

Yes. We require proof of a valid liquor license to verify your venue. You can upload this during onboarding or from your owner dashboard. Listing approval is subject to license verification.

You can browse bars and clubs near you filtered by type and activity — live music, sports bars, cocktail lounges, karaoke, trivia nights, and more. You can also browse events happening this week, active deals, and happy hour times for any bar.

You can browse bars and view listings without an account. To save favorites, write reviews, or receive event notifications you'll need to sign up — it only takes a minute.

How do I find events and deals?

The Events tab shows everything happening nearby — a 'Happening Now' strip, a monthly calendar with event counts per day, and a full event list with distance and time. Deals from nearby bars appear in the Discover feed.

How do I write a review?

Open a bar's listing, scroll to the Reviews section, and tap 'Write a review'. You can leave a star rating, written feedback, and add photos. You can edit or delete your own review at any time from Profile → My Reviews.

Do I have to be 21 to use WatzUp?

Yes. You must be 21 or older to create an account on WatzUp. By signing up you confirm that you meet the age requirement.
